The aluminum oxide residues are extracted during acid etching process with hypochloric acid and sulfuric acid. This particular process further assures the removal of any residues that may interfere with the growth and attachment of osteoblasts.



APPLICATIONS

The roughness of titanium dental implant surface after sandblasting increases the contacting surface by 35 ~ 45 % in comparison with the polished surface of titanium dental implant. There is abundant cell growth onto the SLA treatment surface; This indicates the treatment surface can provide a suitable environment for cell growth and attachment.
